Massachusetts Representative Seth Moulton and his organization, Serve America, have endorsed Tom Malinowski in his bid to represent New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. Moulton served four tours in Iraq with the Marines, and since being elected to Congress, has fought tirelessly for veterans and been a strong advocate for national service. Rep. Mouton has focused his electoral efforts on supporting candidates from military and public service backgrounds.
“Tom’s service spans two presidential administrations as a national security advisor, diplomat, and internationally-recognized Human Rights advocate,” said Moulton. “I am proud to endorse a candidate who led the bipartisan effort to ban the use of torture in the United States, and stood up to enemies of democracy as one of America’s top diplomats.”
“I admire Rep. Moulton for his patriotism and service to country, and look forward to joining him in his fight for the values that unite Americans, rather than divide us. I am extremely grateful for his support,” said Malinowski.
Tom Malinowski is the former Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. Prior, he served as Washington Director at Human Rights Watch, and as a Senior Director on the National Security Council.
