NewDemPAC, a group of 68 pragmatic Congressional leaders focused on finding bipartisan solutions, has endorsed Tom Malinowski in his campaign against Leonard Lance in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. The group was founded in 1997 and focuses on creating a positive policy agenda that will strengthen the economy and provide economic stability and growth for the middle class and small businesses.
“Tom Malinowski knows that the toughest problems we face today can’t be solved through partisanship or division,” said Jon Boughtin, political director for the NewDemPAC. “That forward-thinking approach to governance is what makes Tom a clear fit for the New Democrat Coalition. We know Tom has what it takes to bring home a win in New Jersey, and we’re pleased to welcome him to the team.”
“I am proud to receive NewDemPAC’s endorsement,” Malinowski said. “I look forward to working with its members to promote bipartisan and sensible policies that will help every American succeed, and protect our country’s core values.”
Tom Malinowski is the former Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. He also served as Washington Director of Human Rights Watch, and as a Senior Director on the National Security Council.
