Fact Check: Lance’s Concealed Carry Vote

During Wednesday night’s NJTV 7th Congressional District debate, Leonard Lance defended his vote for national Concealed Carry Reciprocity. Lance claimed during Hurricane Sandy, a man who came to New Jersey to help with recovery was arrested for a concealed weapon, which was legal in his state, but not in New Jersey.

Lance voted in favor of concealed carry reciprocity in 2011. Hurricane Sandy took place in 2012.
