(Westfield, NJ) Over 300 voters joined Representative Tom Malinowski in Westfield, NJ at his “We Won’t Go Back” rally for abortion rights on Saturday. The crowd braved pouring rain to stand up against the Supreme Court’s impending decision to overturn the 50-year precedent set by Roe v. Wade. This event was part of the Nationwide Day of Action for Abortion Rights.
“If Tom Kean Jr. is elected and his party takes back control of Congress, they have made clear they will try to pass a nationwide abortion ban that will overturn our laws in New Jersey,” said Malinowski. “We cannot go back to a time in America when women and doctors were treated as criminals or let our daughters grow up with fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers. We have to elect a Congress that will protect a woman’s right to choose.”
